VTT provides an international training internship for students to study automotive related courses in 2021. During the break, students are given the option to spend time with their family in Malaysia or travel around Germany.

Mercedes-Benz Museum
Located in Stuggart, Mercedes-Benz Museum documents over 130 years of automotive industry history. Explore its nine levels where a total of 12 rooms show 160 vehicles and over 1,500 exhibits.
Walk into the historical timeline – past, present and future of Mercedes-Benz – where you will discover stories behind its inventions through various models, from vintage cars to sedan cars to legendary racing cars to futuristic hydrogen vehicles. You can also take on two tours that follow a ‘Legend’ and ‘Collection’ narrative.

Porsche Museum
Porsche Museum features more than 80 vehicles and small exhibitions, ranging from legendary racing cars to streetcars. Iconic vehicles (such as 365, 550, 911 and 917) are also displayed at the museum. With the concept “Porsche Idea”, this museum highlights the chronological cars and motorsport history.
Learn and discover about Porsche’s spirit and passion through numerous selection of exhibitions. Check out the interactive ‘Porsche Touchwall’, a 12-meter long installation that covers nine decades of automobile history which consists of 3,000 pictures, drawings and technical data. Have the opportunity to see the Porsche team in action fixing various models of automobile.

BMW Museum
In the heart of Munich, BMW Museum is within the BMW Welt, where the main BMW factory and the company’s HQ are located at. Consists of seven exhibition houses, each of them has its unique identity relate to more than 100 years of BMW Group History – Design, Company, Motorcycle, Technology, MotorSport, Brand and Series.
Check out the permanent exhibitions – BMW Roadster, BMW Art Cars and Place of Remembrance. They also feature special exhibitions such as ‘Driving to Freedom in a BMW Isetta’ which is based on the history of a divided Germany. You can download the FREE BMW Museum app (available at App Store and Google Play Store) as your travel companion during your visit to the museum.
Tecknik Museum Speyer
An hour away from Frankfurt, Technik Museum Speyer invites visitors to discover technology from the underwater world to space. Exhibitions which you need to check out are the Boeing 747 for Lufthansa Airlines, Antonov AN-22, Rescue Ship JT Essberger and Spaceshuttle BURAN.
Mark your calendar in May as the museum turns into a lively playground, Brazzeltag (Brazzel Day), every year. For two days, you will get discover wondrous technology for vehicles, including horsepower giants and motorised curiosities.

Deutsches Museum
Drop by at Deutsches Museum, the world’s largest museum of science and technology during your visit to Munich. It consists of more than 30 exhibitions where you will discover the masterpieces of science and technology.
Experience more about the wonders of science and technology through FREE guided tours and demonstrations. These activities include learning about space at the planetarium & observatory and physics by doing liquid nitrogen experiments. As these are conducted in German, you will need to do the advance booking in English.

Motorworld Stuttgart
Formerly a Wurttemberg state airport, Motorworld Stuttgart showcases daily changing collections of vehicles and bikes from all over the world. You can view these amazing automobiles at this public space with FREE access. Check out the private-owned cars display in the glass boxes.
Stay and dine at the V8 Hotel, a thematic car hotel, furnished and inspired by versatile vehicles. Each room is individually designed, made from real vehicle parts, car wash, workshop and petrol station.

International Motor Show Germany
Organised by the German Association of the Automotive Industry, International Motor Show Germany is the world’s largest motor show that displayed passenger vehicles. It is also a space that gathers start-ups and established groups of the automotive industry.
The upcoming motor show in 2021 will take place in Munich. You will be having an open-minded experience in learning about automobiles, technology and digital mobility chain. Learn from the industry professionals sharing insights about transport solutions.
Nurburgring Nordschleife
The famous racing track, Nurburgring Nordschleife, provides a thrilling experience in all things motorsports. They organise monthly racing events and provide drift & driving training.
Besides watching motorsport races, you will get to learn about the motorsport history at the exhibition, experience race and off-road driving via tourist rides and getting your hands dirty by fixing racing cars at the workshop.

Stiftung Automuseum Volkswagen
Come close and personal in discovering the automotive history about Volkswagen at the Stiftung Automuseum Volkswagen. Situated near the Volkswagen factory, the exhibition showcases the evolution of the marque, from the Beetle era to the Golf in the modern age. A total of 130 vehicles include rare concept vehicles, prototypes and one-off models.
The museum also features special exhibitions and events that celebrate art, culture and technology. Book yourself a guided tour where you will learn the details and background behind every Volkswagen.

German Museum of Technology
Situated in Berlin, German Museum of Technology (Deutsches Technikmuseum in German) has a wide range of exhibitions that let you on a journey of discovery through the cultural history of technology. The museum has been collecting and preserving objects that represent part of its history. Their collection has about 150,000 objects in their premises.
Currently, there are around 4,000 objects displayed at the exhibitions. Learn about exciting discoveries about rail transport, computers, aviation, road transport and machine tools.
